Hot Rock Lomilomi Massage
“Lomilomi means the loving touch, a connection between heart, hand and soul with the Source of all life. The purpose is to revive the body, to move blood and lymph, to open spasms and remove waste materials from muscles and connective tissue.
… If your hands are loving, your patient will feel the sincerity of your heart and the Lord’s healing will flow through you both.” by Aunty Margaret Machado, LMT.
“Lomilomi is an ancient Hawaiian concept of working with the mana (life force) of the body, mind, and soul of an individual. To obtain the level of immediate and long-term healing necessary, the practitioner uses a multitude of techniques. Their ability to communicate deep ‘into the bones’ via the muscles and soft tissues is important because it is at this level that all memory is stored from past traumas, injuries, or emotional links. As in many indigenous cultures, the bones are the most important and protected part of the physical structure, and the energetics of the individual.” by Maka’ala Yates, D.C.
How is it done? Utilising the complimentary techniques of both Lomilomi and Hot Stone Massage, David will firstly focus on blockages within the physical or energetic body, using smooth hot granite stones, breath and movement to release and free you from anything blocking the flow of your physical, emotional, spiritual or mental energy. The heat from the stones warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows David to apply deeper pressure. The warmth of the hot stones improves circulation and calms the nervous system. Then, whilst you are in a deep state of relaxation massage oils, hands, elbows and forearms will come together in dynamic, deep Lomilomi full length body movements that mimic the ebb and flow of the ocean – washing away your tension and calming your senses bringing total relaxation. The long slow strokes are applied both under the body, and on its upper surface.

Skin Scrubs Especially for Ladies
In our harsh Australian climate, skin gets dried out and scaly. So I have introduced skin scrub treatments to restore your skin to its soft, supple, youthful glow.
First is treatment with a luxurious, spa style Mediterranean Sea Salt Scrub, mixed with Verbena extract, almond, apricot & grape seed, which gently exfoliates while moisturizing dry skin. The scrub promotes circulation leaving skin deeply cleansed and velvety smooth.
Next is a revitalizing, nourishing body milk enriched with softening Verbena extract & grape seed oil. It delicately soothes and moisturizes skin, leaving skin soft, supple and lemon scented. The milk has a lightweight texture and is easily absorbed into skin.
These quality products from L’Occitane in France bring you a sense of freshness and well-being – you can wear them for the remainder of the day. You also receive a refreshingly light massage as the body milk is applied to your skin. For really sun-damaged areas, Shea Butter is used, instead of the milk, to supply heavy duty re-hydration.
People comment on how good their skin feels after treatment – why not try one yourself? As a special introduction book a 60 minute Lomilomi massage – plus skin treatment – and pay only $85. That’s 90 minutes of treatment.
Lymphatic Drainage massage is also available.
